Description
Mini Mushroom and Gruyere Pot Pies create rich comfort with creamy filling and golden pastry.
Ingredients
Mushrooms sliced 3 cups
Butter 3 tablespoons
Garlic minced 3 cloves
Gruyere cheese grated 1 cup
Heavy cream 1 cup
Onion diced 1 medium
Thyme 1 teaspoon
Salt 1 teaspoon
Black pepper half teaspoon
Vegetable broth 1 cup
All purpose flour 2 tablespoons
Puff pastry 1 pack
Egg wash 1
Instructions
1. Sauté onion and garlic in butter.
2. Add mushrooms and cook until soft.
3. Add flour and stir.
4. Pour broth and cream and simmer.
5. Add Gruyere and melt.
6. Fill ramekins and top with pastry.
7. Bake until golden.
Notes
Cool the filling before adding pastry.
Use wild mushrooms for stronger flavor.
