Chicken ventricles are usually prepared according to recipes called “rustic”. But the geography of this dish is much wider.
We will tell you how to replenish the piggy bank of original recipes and learn how to cook chicken ventricles in Korean. This is an appetizer for any occasion.
For cooking you will need:
- 1 kg of chicken stomachs;
- 2 onions (large);
- carrots in Korean;
- 3-5 garlic cloves;
- 3-4 tablespoons of soy sauce;
- 1 tablespoon of 9% vinegar.
How to cook
The ventricles need to be cleaned and boiled until they become soft.
After the offal has cooled, you need to cut them into medium-sized strips.
Peel the onion and cut it into medium-sized half rings, and fry until it becomes soft.
Carrots can be used ready-made or cooked on their own using a suitable grater.
We mix the ventricles with ready-made vegetables, add salt and pepper to taste, pass the garlic cloves through the press, and add soy sauce and vinegar in the final.
Thoroughly mix the appetizer and put it in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours, and it is even better to marinate for 12 hours.
Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
